CFUF knows how to change lives. The Center for Urban Families does not try to make individuals change, but instead surrounds our clients with a selection of services that helps them build skills and the confidence to find their personal power to change.

CFUF's staff includes an exceptional team whose backgrounds give them credibility both in the community we serve and among national urban policy leaders. We stay with our clients for years after they have completed specific programs, because we understand that even the most motivated individuals face sudden, unexpected hurdles on the path to change that can appear insurmountable. We know that support needs to be there at exactly the right moment.
